We build large module based turnkey
plants, new machines for existing plants
and stand-alone machines for e.g. pilot
and test applications.
Investments in new production plants and machines are often driven by a demand for quality such as high functionality and profitability. At MME Nordic we know all about the challenges for the medico industry when constructing stable processes for manufacturing of products made of challenging materials. Therefore, we construct machines, that ensure robust production and manufacture high quality products. We also know the importance of time-to-market. We perform and we keep short delivery times, even on larger production lines.
We offer a close partnership with your design engineers during the development process. We give advice in order to ensure that your products both meet the wanted functions and fit an efficient production. It is our experience that working in partnerships shortens the development time and give the best results.
We both build large module based turnkey plants, new machines for existing plants and stand-alone machines for e.g. pilot and test applications.

Our key competence is to develop good processes for manufacturing of foil-based ostomy and continence products as well as infusion bags. Our extensive knowledge and experience in this area goes back more than 25 years.
Working with foil-based products two big challenges often arises: The foil is hard to handle and it is difficult to join with other materials. This leads to uneven products and an unstable production.
At MME Nordic we solve the challenges for you. We are experts when it comes to developing robust and stable processes for unifying plastic film with a wide range of the features that are often used in ostomy and continence products: adhesive plates, textile, clutches, barrier rings and injection molded items.
We also have strong competences within developing processes for unwind and lane steering of plastic foils, textiles etc. A stable unwind that controls the lane tension gives you a steady production and uniform products.
With our extensive experience within the area, we have the professional ballast to be creative and see new opportunities. With a solution from us you get a unique construction. A product entirely yours and at the same time based on solid knowledge.
The machine will meet your wishes regarding design and functionality and it grants a stable production with minimal risks. Always with focus on efficiency and productivity improvements.
Many years of experience in the Medico Industry have made us strong in a range of technologies. Read more about them here.
Our wind and unwind technologies ensure that flexible materials are fed with a constant lane tension into the process. This is an important and fundamental feature to obtain uniform products and a continuous production. We have developed this technology for handling plastic film, foil, textile, paper and labels.
Our technology for chain pull conveying is based on grip chain that grab the material with a high degree of precision. Support weldings are often used as one of the first steps after a foil, film or textile is inserted in the grip chain. The support weld contributes to support in the further processing enabling very precise integration of further items and hole or contour punching – keeping materials in place without stretching or collapsing.
Our lane steering technology is automatized with sensor monitoring and high precision. This ensures even products when they are conveyed forward in the process for punching or joining. We have developed processes and technologies for punching and joining of soft and hard plastic, foil, film and rubber materials.
We are very experienced within development of technology for joining soft materials but also integrating hard items, e.g. plastic film and textiles, that must med joined before further processing. Integration of hard plastic items like flanges and valves in conjunction with soft materials is another area of expertise. We have developed processes for warm, impulse, ultrasound and high frequency joining.
Clear labeling of the products is important for the end user´s experience. We have solutions for ink, hot stamping, thermal-transfer printing, laser engraving as well as adhesive and dotter solutions. Our experience includes solutions for soft and hard plastic, film, foil, rubber materials, paper, cardboard etc.
Integrating of vision in different contexts is often required and we have the experience to incorporate it in our solutions.
Placement and positioning of items throughout the process is an example of how we use vision and often in connection with integration of robots for handling items.
We also use vision and control for QA quality assurance on key items and processes throughout the production process.
Our services include advise and recommendations all the way from idea to end product, mechanical and electric construction, software development, preparation of documentation, among other things, in connection with CE Marking and preparation of technical dossier as well as running in the machine and validation.
If you are looking for advice in regard to design & engineering and new constructions, we offer you our expertise as a stand-alone service as well.
Sometimes there is a choice between updating an existing machine and build a new and in some cases updating and redesigning can be an easier and cheaper way to meet new tasks and market requirements. At MME Nordic we have extensive experience in implementing new, technical solutions – both hardware and software – in existing machines.
Our services rank from standard upgrades to implementation of new modules and reconstruction of entire plants.
We offer to carry out the task in our own facilities, but we are also capable of carrying out the project at your location according to the existing requirements and wishes.
At MME Nordic we seek strong partnerships, that result in good solutions. Therefore, we request a good user requirement specification whenever we are looking at a new project. This ensures that you as a customer have a clear idea of our agreement and in the end, that the machine meets your expectations.
We offer to enter into project-based co-operations, flexible co-operations based on contracts divided into phases, the stage-gate principle, or contracts specifically adjusted to the current task. We make sure that you as a customer always receive the service agreed. It is important to us throughout a continuous dialogue to ensure that service and expenses always match your expectations.
